Sole Trader, recording sale of old work phone? 13th Sep 17 at 11:09 AM
    Hi there,
I do my own accounts as I am a small sole trader and don't have much in the way of paperwork, just the same two customers each year, though I do support them lots remotely.

As such, I bought a work iPhone a few years back and replaced it last year with a new model. When I bought my original one, I included it as a Capital Expense on my profit and loss account.

I sold this phone when I replaced it and managed to make £338 by selling it on Ebay. I would like to record this amount as a receipt in my profit and loss account, but have never done this before. Is this the best place to put it?.....
