    Security warning issues android tablet 13th Sep 17 at 10:57 AM
    I continually get this message on most sites now, almost unable to use nexus 7 tablet 2013.

    If I do a factory reset will it stop this problem?
    Will I lose my photos?
    My android mobile uses same WiFi hub doesn't present with this issue.
    Can anyone advise me please? Thanks.

    Clear history, cookies and cached files.

    go to settings=>privacy=>clear browsing data
    tick all the boxes and then click "clear browsing data"

    If you still get the message, then either clear the data and cache from application settings or remove chrome and download the latest version

    Vanilla android just means that it is pure android and not a fork by Samsung et al

    Is the date and time set correctly on the device ?

    There doesnt seem to be a clear solution to this issue apart from the above you have tried ...

    You can either google around for ages, or factory reset the device (although im not sure this will resolve the issue)

    Let us know how you get on incase others have similar issue

    before factory reset try clearing the cache partition.

    Google How to clear cache partition on Nexus, 2013 and give it a go, it might work and if it does your data and apps are still useable might save time. |If all else faile the factory reset is still an option
