Needing to go over there again and slurp some black gold so it would be nice if the economy hit a bit of a flatter. Bring it down to €1 per pint and also make it so I get more Euros for the pound.

    hmmmmm

Little has changed in Ireland since you asked the same question in 2013 and 2015.

bring back the punt.. or make the euro cheap. i wanna get 1.8 on my money at least
    Good luck with that!

Next Tuesday is Budget Day in Ireland.
Duty on alcohol hasn't gone up for a few years so it's a good possibility your Guinness will be even more expensive in Ireland.
Particularly in Temple Bar where late at night you be paying upwards of €10 a pint.

The problem is where you're drinking - Temple Bar is a tourist trap and they adjust their prices accordingly!
