Disabled Railcard discounts using Oyster 12th Sep 17 at 10:33 AM
    Hi,

    Hope you're well.

I have a question regarding the Disabled railcard and how to best use it.

I commute from Romford into Liverpool Street every weekday with my partner and usually tapped my bank card. We also travel on train to Leeds from KX every 3/4 weeks.

I wanted to know if anybody can recommend how to use the card, i.e. buy an oyster and apply the railcard discount? or buy weekly/monthly tickets.

Does travelling on the underground using the card mean my partner gets discount too?

    Thanks!

    Mav

    Have you read this?
    http://www.disabledpersons-railcard.co.uk/using-your-railcard/the-benefits/

Particularly the "Discounts on Oyster pay as you go in London" section.

Could you tell us what time you travel when you're commuting?
