    Balance Transfer Question

Balance Transfer Question 12th Sep 17 at 9:16 AM
Hi All, hoping someone can help.

I made the move to self-employed last November and have been building up a steady stream of income since then.

In April this year I took a PAYE position for a couple of months, and during that time I shifted the vast majority of debt from my Santander credit to an MBNA card with 0% interest for 32 months.

While applying for that transfer I was obviously in full time employement, but after finding out I could transfer the rest of that debt across I'm now interested in seeing if that's possible. Seeing as I already have the card, and make at least the minimum payments every month, will enquiring about the balance transfer affect my existing deal?

The last thing I want to happen is them say my interest rate on my existing debt will change because my circumstances are different!

    Thanks in advance!

They won't change the rate because of your employment.
