I know they're not for everyone, but I do like these fun advent calendars.

Laura Ashley at the surprisingly low price of £40 looks lovely.

The MSE article on the main deals page has a lot of valuable information on beauty advent calendars so it is definitely worth taking a look at the article.

Any tips for beauty advent calendars? Just researching as a present for my girlfiend and came across this forum, the SkinStore 12 Miracles one looks really good.

I'm drooling over the Clinique calendar - but at £75 it's sadly out of my budget.

It really comes down to personal taste I guess... you can narrow it down to different product types. You can choose

    - Make-up
    - Bath products
    - Nail polish
    - Skincare
    - or a mash-up of all the above

Then decide whether you want a full 24/25-day calendar or 12-day. I'm afraid I don't know much about the brand you mentioned.

It might be worthwhile taking a sneak peek at her current beauty products to see if she has a favourite brand?
