Universalcredit identification 9th Sep 17 at 6:34 AM
Hi my wife and i are trying to claim universal credit but it is not working to identify us. We got driving licenses but it it insisted we use experian, we then filled out all details 100% correct including providing credit cards etc ( we know what is on our credit record as we use experian) but id got rejected. we are in the middle of moving and of course used the old address for the verify, and the new address for the universal credit claim, could this be the reason any body got any ideas? Thanks

Yes but the address doesn't match with the one you gave for your application.

Yes, whilst data matching is a useful tool for combating fraud, it isn't very clever when dealing with those who move - as even with rolling registration, the published paper Electoral Rolls are still only updated 3 or 4 times a year and some orgs still only check the annual full Register.
Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.
