Euro -> NZD - CASH best method? 8th Sep 17 at 3:36 PM
    Hi Guys

We have 4000 euro and wish to change to New Zealand Dollar. We need CASH, so that we can buy a van.

We go mid-January, but right now the rate between the currencies appears to be very good.

We will then sell this van, and take the cash to Perth, Australia, where again we'll need AUD.

We have Revolut, WeSwap and Halifax Clarity, which we plan to use for our daily expenses, but it seems these apps would not be a great method for us to obtain cash, plus we would get the rate applicable at the time, which could be worse or better.

    Your advice is much appreciated.

    Dale

There's an even chance of the rates moving in your favor or otherwise before your trip, so that's not relevant. If your euros are cash take them to New Zealand with you and exchange them for cash there, doing it in UK will involve exchanging to GBP first and cost more. If they are not cash euros, in what form do you hold them?
