chasing PPCs for harassment 8th Sep 17 at 3:09 PM
Are there any threads on this and how to go about it? We have had two successful appeals against PCNs but both involved loads of time and stress. Anyone successfully done this??

Most people are only too pleased to get these parasites of their backs. but if you really want to give them a bloody nose read this one for trespass

    http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?377246-UKPC-liable-for-trespass-**SUCCESS**

    This one for DPA breach

    http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co.uk/2017/05/motorist-awarded-900-for-data.html

Then there is Ms Jopson who took Homeguard to the cleaners at appeal after a silly judge found against her.

    https://bmpa.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/213077149-Loading-and-Unloading-Jopson-v-Homeguard-2016-

Parking companies are becoming increasingly exposed as irate motorists fight back against their scams, but stay clear of harassment, the bar is set very high.

Were both PCNs for exactly the same situation and were they residential or other private land?
Depending on the circumstances there are ideas people will give you but to do so would require much more information about what you have experienced.

May I also suggest you read Ferguson v British Gas if you wish to walk that path. It is informative as to the standard that needs to met...

In the case of a major retailer, such as Sainsburys, when given the chance you should go for them as well, as they are jointly liable for the actions of their agents.

The only time not to go for the landowner as well, is if they are a small independent entity, such as a one man sop/pub, or a community centre/hall , in which case they can be victims of the PPC as well
    From the Plain Language Commission:

"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"

Given your PCNs are in different locations I think it would be tricky to prove harassment ... if on the other hand you had multiple tickets for the same site and you had already shown that they were invalid by successfully appealing or winning some in court and they continued to ticket you for the same reason I suspect you would have a much stronger case ...
