Any 'quote' web site? 8th Sep 17 at 1:48 PM
If I google the above, will it take me to a web site for local mechanical quotes?
I recall something mentioned in another thread. I have been quoted £120 plus parts, but he has broken his hand; so I am now looking for an alternative.
The work is a timing belt and dephaser pulley on a Renault Magane.

The one that's advertised on the radio is MyCarNeedsA.com. No idea if it's good, bad or indifferent though.

You’ve received a new quote from Alba Tyres - Team Protyre

    £887.98

For Timing Belt and Water Pump
I am guessing they just thought of a number, and then doubled it, lol

  • OK I'm wilting to public pressure and there will be a star trek captain's poll at some point next week

  • I can get that. My order is 1. Picard 2. Janeway 3. Kirk. Too early to say where Lorca will end up (or would you? https://t.co/kawtCOe9RA
