Enfield Council Car Park PCN 7th Sep 17 at 8:51 PM
    Howdy

Just wondering if theres a chance I could get the missus off a pcn. We parked in a car park in n13 on a free 45 bay. We returned 10 mins late and as we entered the car park a mobile parking dude was leaving. I knew that we were ticketed then and went to the car anf found the PCN. It says "parked after expiry of paid time" but notice they only observed a 1 min grace period (10:50 to 10:51). Is this acceptable?

No, it's not. They must allow at least ten minutes after paid-for time, so he can't start the PCN, print it, take photos and leave within that time.

Get thee to pepipoo's Council PCN forum board:

    http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showforum=30

They help posters win almost every Council PCN appeal and they know all the issues to raise in an appeal, including loopholes and rules and procedural impropriety by the Council.

Show them BOTH SIDES of the PCN, and register for free (no Hotmail emails on pepipoo).

Come back & update this thread when you win!

I should have made it clearer that the ticket ended 10:40 so that would mean they did give 10 mins. Is that right?

Only just - get to pepipoo and appeal through the 2 or 3 stages needed to quash it. There are always grounds to appeal.
