Teaching children the Facts of Life 7th Sep 17 at 7:03 PM
I think we have to prepare children for a world where they can look after themselves.

We need to pass on details which, almost certainly, they won't be taught at school.

I would like them to learn that:-

    1.cheap bacon will ooze water,
2.sausages take longer to cook than you think,
    3. fresh coffee always smells nicer than it tastes.

    Any to add?

After all that, what about teaching them about sex?

Unless you have a few years to spare, do not ask Patel about the facts of life...Fact.

Tap water contains much less phthalate.

I can't believe anyone who reads a money saver website buys still bottled water. What a waste.

I thought the bottled water trade would dry up during the recession, but it just kept going. Perhaps the recession wasn't deep enough?
