Time limit for 'Enforcement Charge Notice' & 'Notice of Rejection'' 7th Sep 17 at 3:12 PM
Hi, I'm hoping someone can tell me if there is a time limit for the council in Scotland to inform you of an alleged offense and also if there is a set time for them to reject an appeal once they have received it?

In my own recent 'Bus Gate Enforcement' experience, the council took 39 days to issue the charge and then when I appealed they took 139 days to formally reject it.

Any information regarding this would be appreciated.

You would do best to take this over to Pepipoo - they specialise in legit tickets.

    Agreed:

Not sure if Scotland is different, but I think 39 days to issue the charge is too long, unless they have good reason, such as writing to the previous keeper first if your V5 keeper details are not up to date, or if the car was recently bought by you.

Post on that forum and the experts there will assist - no posting without pics of the PCN! And no Hotmail emails on pepipoo.
PRIVATE PCN? DON'T PAY BUT DO NOT IGNORE IT TWO Clicks needed for advice:
Top of the page: Home>>Forums>Household & Travel>Motoring>Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking - read the 'NEWBIES' FAQS thread!
Advice to ignore is WRONG, unless in Scotland/NI.
