    Help Required - Can't Submit Appeal 28th Aug 17 at 11:14 PM
My Wife received a PCN whilst visiting our daughter. She has now received the Notice to Keeper from Parking Collection Services (PCS).

After reading the forum I followed the steps to complete the online appeal, however I'm unable to submit the appeal due to not being able to read the Privacy Statement. Without being able to read the privacy statement I'm no willing to agree and therefore select the tick box to confirm.

When I click on the link, I receive; "Error 404 page". Also the link is to a web page outside of the website for PCS.

Looking for advice on what I should do.

    Which parking firm? Not PCS.
PRIVATE PCN? DON'T PAY BUT DO NOT IGNORE IT TWO Clicks needed for advice:
Top of the page: Home>>Forums>Household & Travel>Motoring>Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking - read the 'NEWBIES' FAQS thread!
Advice to ignore is WRONG, unless in Scotland/NI.

It's a ticket from Parking Ticketing Limited.

Add a few lines to your appeal stating the website doesnt show any privacy statement and will not continue without agreeing to it. Yet it does not show a privacy statement 404 error. Take screengrabs and keep them safe.

Now you can click agree and move on. Or wrote an appeak by letter and post it.

As above, and email a complaint to the BPA:

    aos@britishparking.co.uk

...and make them do something useful, for a change.

I wrote the appeal letter and posted it, my wife has now received a Notice of liability with no response from here appeal. Not even received an acknowledgment, which is very naughty.

How do I now respond to this?

    Anyone had this before?

Did you complain to the BPA? Well, send another one. This time copy it to David Dunford of the DVLA and ask for his comments.

    david.dunford@dvla.gsi.gov.uk
We cannot provide you with a silver bullet to get you out of this. You have to be in for the long run, and need to involve yourself in research and work for you to get rid of this. It is not simple. We will help, but can't do it for you.

Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; show him how to catch fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Not sure what you mean? I wrote out and sent the appeal by posting it using the Royal Mail. I was not able to send in the appeal via their website as the site's broken. Which is also very poor.

Are you saying I should now email BPA and copy in the DVLA?

Private Parking ticket? check the 2 sticky threads by coupon-mad and crabman in the Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking Board forum for the latest advice or maybe try pepipoo or C.A.G. or legal beagles forums if you need legal advice as well because this parking forum is not about debt collectors or legal matters per se
