New diary, I have been thinking about it for a while now. I have been back almost a year give or take two weeks and boy what a year that has been, reading back over my old diary.

The title of my new diary comes from a Lucy Spraggan song, which the lyrics fit the mood at the moment.

    Reflection on the past year:
    * Current debt is now - £8500, this doesn't include the OD or the BC (yet!)
    * Changed jobs four times and looking to move again, hopefully for the last time for a while
    * Moved house - This is my favourite one
    * Year Goals when I find them again are improving
    * Got a horrible situation with DS's ex-gf sorted
    * Still trying to get my MSE head to stay on, but I'm getting there slowly

    --------------------------------------------------------------------

There are still improvements that need to be made but overall I/we are getting there. I think carefully about anything I go to buy.

I am happy that I have rediscovered the survey sites and some new ones that I hadn't done before, my overall plan for next year is to build a stash up towards Christmas and birthdays, making 2018 as frugal as I can

There are still things in the house that need sorting/unpacking/binning but it does feel like home and the kids love it and that to me is all that matters

I like trying to get the most out of £2 per day, how sad is that?

So as the song goes 'We won't abandon this ship. We are unsinkable'

Been slightly AWOL the last few days, needed to sort things out in the background.

Site is getting busy and will be getting busier over the next few weeks, the contract for the project has been agreed finally which is a good thing and I am hoping that they will take me on in May.

Finally I have been taxed the downside is that I won't quite accumulate as much 'extra' salary that I thought I would at the beginning, but that's fine as I can still use that money in May to pay the deposit off the BC for my car and there will be enough in there left over that I can pay DD's travel off for the next academic year.

Cue DH panicking about money, DH has been told what's what, so hopefully he won't worry too much now.

Need to keep with bringing my lunch to work and stopping drinking during the week.

Will you get a tax rebate in May? Fingers crossed they make you permanent.

Sorry to hear about DS at school. Is he bored? Or under a bad influence? If not then it must be the dreaded teen hormones

I think with DS it's his hormones that are playing up, he's certainly no joy to live with at the moment

    Afternoon,

DH picked his new car up and is in love with it, although it has more buttons than the starship Enterprise he says I'm looking forward to seeing it tonight.

Didn't bring my lunch in today...very naughty but I did try the Gregg's around the corner from site and it was yummy and hot and I thoroughly enjoyed it Do I feel guilty?...slightly but it is Friday.

Food ordered from Morrison's, that will be delivered tomorrow lunchtime. Apart from a few bits, I think I have covered the rest of the month.

Need to take DD to get her mug shot done for her passport, I can then fill the form out and order it ready for it to be handed in to the school in May.

DS needs a hair cut too, so will also do that in the afternoon.

Dinner tonight is beef casserole, we were going to have it earlier in the week but I wasn't organised enough. A lot of this week hasn't been that organised **rolls eyes**

My lovely colleague gave me some more eggs this week, I think I may need to buy some cooking bits and make a cake or something for site, definitely not something for this weekend as I'm making soup

I bought a pot of daffodils for my desk too this week £2 reduced in Asda, so a bit of Spring in the site office.

Just had a look at my spreadsheet and updated it accordingly.

Annoyingly, I haven't been doing any surveys this past couple of weeks and I am determined to sort it out.

One PA survey done and a bonus payment of £4.50 received one survey done for OP too.

Need to update my signature to reflect the new debt level, which I will do next.

    Saturday
    Morning,

It's Saturday and I'm very tired today, I'm sure it'll pass.

    Weekly round up time.

    Good things

Took my lunch twice this week
    Managed two AFD's
    Stuckish to meal plan
    Food ordered for the week
Managed some NSD's but again lost count
Good things happening with the project
    I got more free eggs

    Bad things

    Didn't do as many surveys
    Didn't do any flylady
    Debt has increased
Not as organised lunch wise as I should've been

Overall perhaps not too bad this week but I'm sure it could've been better.

Got lots to do this weekend and I'm hoping to fit in a walk too.
