Smart Parking Fine - Strothers Lane, Inverness 17th Jul 17 at 11:33 PM
    Hi all,
I was recently on holiday in Scotland driving a rented car.

A few weeks after I got home I got a letter in the post from Smart Parking saying I had been issued with a fine for parking in Strothers Lane Car Park. I remembered parking in the car park but definitely bought a ticket. The letter has a photo of me driving in and out of the car park with no evidence of me doing anything wrong or explanation of what I did wrong.

I appealed the ticket and they declined saying having checked their systems, no payment was made against vehicle but still provided no actual evidence. I've read all sorts of dodgy things about this company/carpark online and read lots of threads on here saying to ignore them if your based in Scotland. I live in England. Can they take me to court if I don't pay?
