Where the Entry Fee is returned, the Promoter shall have no further liability to the Entrant or to any other person;

The Promoters make no representation or warranty as to the Valuation or the Prize, its structural or cosmetic condition or its ability to be sold. Entrants should make and rely on their own enquiries and legal advice about the Prize before entering the Competition.

Save for death or personal injury the Promoters will not be liable for any loss (including economic loss) suffered to or sustained by any person or property as a result of any act or omission of the Promoters, nor will their servants or their agents in developing, planning and Administrating the Competition, distributing the Prize to the Winner or following the distribution of the Prize; The Promoters accept no liability for errors or omissions contained within the Prize details, description or specification or any other part of the Website. It is the responsibility of each Entrant (and in particular the Winner) to satisfy him/herself as to the accuracy of any such details and/or any content of this website.

The Promoters will not be liable for any loss suffered by an Entrant as a result of incomplete entries or failed computer communications or for any loss suffered as a result of use of the Website.

The Promoters do not accept responsibility for entries which they do not receive due to failures in computer systems, other malfunctions, high Internet traffic, hardware failure, software failure, server faults or any other reason.

These competition rules shall not create or be construed as creating any form of contract, joint venture or other agreement between any Entrant and the Promoters.

An entry shall be declared void (without any refund being given) if the entrant engages in: (a) any form of fraud (actual or apparent); (b) fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) fraudulent concealment; (d) hacking or interference with the proper functioning of the website; or (e) amending, or unauthorised use of, any of the code that constitutes the Website.

If we achieve our 500,000 paid entry target before August the 1st we will donate £25,000 to the St John's Hospice charity as our way of thanking everyone for their support! We will also donate £5000 to NYAS who have kindly offered the title Lord of the Manor of Melling for a 12 month period to the winner!
    418,570 + paid entries as of 13/07/17.
Find us on Radio 5 Live, ITV news, BBC Radio, The Sun, IdealHome, The Manchester Evening News, The Mirror, The Daily Mail, Westmorland Gazette, Yahoo News, The Daily Telegraph, the LADbible, Esquire, Cosmopolitan, and many more...

After lovingly renovating our house between 2011 and 2012 we have struggled to pay the mortgage, and have tried but failed to sell the property through traditional routes and we would like to avoid reposession.

After talking to many estate agents and quick buy companies, we believe it is in our best interest to take the sale of our property into our own hands, whilst offering someone else to the opportunity to own and enjoy the property as their own.

The entry fee is £2 per ticket and requires you to answer a question about the house.

We also allow free written entry by 1st class post, and all entries either paid or free will be treated equally.

The closing date for entries is August the 1st 2017 at 12pm GMT.

We hope to sell 500,000 tickets to include our cost such as stamp duty and legal fees, to complete any last minute jobs to ensure the house is as perfect as possible for the next owner etc.

    So, whats included?

In the kitchen you will win an LG Fridge Freezer, Bosch built in microwave and oven, a Bosch wine cooler, 5 ring gas hob, servo activated kitchen drawers, corian worktops, glass splash backs, lovely original oak floorboards and cast iron radiators.

In the living room there is a 12kw wood burning stove, with pine floorboards, cast iron radiators, window shutters and a fancy chandelier.

In the utility there is a stainless sink, Corian worktops, stone flooring, Fired Earth Moroccan style tiles, plumbing for a washing machine and dryer, a commercial 46kw boiler and a heated towel radiator.

In the downstairs bathroom there is Fired Earth WC and sink, a heated towel radiator and stone flooring.

The downstairs hallway features a pair of Eicholtz lights, cast iron radiators, and original oak floorboards.

Upstairs there are 6 bedrooms, 2 with walk in wardrobes, one master bedroom with en suite and dressing room, a family bathroom with Fired Earth one piece bath tub, a Fired Earth chrome and porcelain sink, pearl splashback, Fired Earth toilet, stone flooring and a Fired Earth walk through shower.

Additionally there are two large attic spaces for storage, and a handy hatch to access the roof.

Outside there are gardens to the front, side and rear with parking for around 6 cars on a horseshoe driveway surrounded by mature trees.

    Notes

The original asking price for our property was £845,000 when we relisted it in December 2016

The target for this contest is to sell 500,000 tickets to cover all fees and the sale of the house.

Is there any consensus on whether this a scam or not? The blurb about St John's Hospice makes me think it could be real?
