this thread now edited to remove original (stupid) fund crowding request to fund payment of fines , therefore most of the replies now make no sense !

EDIT : a further crowd funding page has now been set up , this time to raise funds for an appeal

    https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/nhsvindigo

I agree and will be assisting in this

DJ Coates Does NOT UNDERSTAND THE SCAM

Allowing the scammers charges by ZZPS ?????

Wright Hassall will go down in history as the destroyers of nurses
    and Doctors

ZZPS should still be ignored and Wright Hassall hereby be known as
    the scammers friend

Hopefully their will be an appeal and if Wright Hassall defend it, boy
    will it cost them money

It's all part of the Tories plan to shut the NHS down. Under fund it so it can't provide the services that people want. So get the public unhappy. Don't pay the staff so get the staff unhappy. Why are pensioners guaranteed a minimum pay rise of 2.5% every year but NHS workers get a maximum pay rise of 1%? I think the Tories want some NHS strikes so they can say "look it's not working, we need privatization".

DJ Coates Does NOT UNDERSTAND THE SCAM

If a judge does not understand the law then a mistrial should be declared. If a few hundred/thousand people complain to their M.Ps about this decision it will, one hopes, force the DOJ to review the case.

    If this is her

    https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/officers/BWN7N7C1yLqfkK8-AvB6sd9tgf4/appointments

she specialises in family law and conveyancing. I doubt very much that she is familiar with the tricks PPCs get up to. I cannot see this judgement holding.

I too have always been a Tory, the alternative is too horrible to contemplate, so I shall remain a tory whatever happens.

    Private parking tickets
This is the advise on the MSE site is it totaly wrong not a court has said you have to pay it?

Don't ever think of private parking tickets as 'fines'

They're not. Private parking companies have no official right to fine you, though they may try to make you think they do. All they're doing is sending you a notice for what they deem to be a breach of contract.
It isn't the ability of private companies to issue tickets in itself that's a problem. It's the unstructured system which puts unnecessary power in potentially unscrupulous hands.

Can you imagine if this was read across to a murder case?

This isn't the actual knife used in the murder, but we think it looks a bit like the one that was used, although we don't actually have the murder weapon in our possesion. The prosecution would like to enter it into evidence as exhibit A.

Guilty as charged, take him/her down!

Right, I have fired off a FoI request to the trust for sight of the contract with Indigo.

Let's see what they come back with.

They don't have a contract. They have a 20 year lease which runs out next year. Indigo were in fact the occupiers who could issue any rules they wanted - until next year.

The contract to manage parking there has just been advertised.
Life's for living, get on with it rather than worrying about these. If they hassle, counter claim.

Send them that costs schedule though, 24 hours before the hearing, and file it with the court. Take with you evidence that you have sent the costs schedule to them and when.

The trust say on their website that they have a contract which allows Indigo to "prosecute" and issue "fines". So let's see how they respond.

Nice but they will ignore. If you have an NHS Trust who is that
ignorant, vindictive and stupid towards their staff, it will be water
    off a ducks back.

10,000 permits issued for some 1000 spaces seems to me a scam and bordering on a ponzi scheme
Such schemes promise something that does not exist

My curious mind wonders about the financial arrangement on this

PRIVATE PCN? DON'T PAY BUT DO NOT IGNORE IT TWO Clicks needed for advice:
Top of the page: Home>>Forums>Household & Travel>Motoring>Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking - read the 'NEWBIES' FAQS thread!
Advice to ignore is WRONG, unless in Scotland/NI.

It ends in 2018 which is why the next contract is "interesting" as they say.

Which is also why this pantomime was also interesting. Pity about the clown though.

Anyway my view was this case was about costs and not the authority, permit or amount.

If you ever read what's on the Daily Mail comments about parking you'd think that the motorist had deserved getting the ticket most of the time!
