Help daughter get graduate account 15th Jul 17 at 9:51 AM
Please can anyone advise what is best way for me to help my daughter switch from her student current account to a graduate current account? She is with Santander who seem to have the best graduate account too (0%free for 2 years, £2000 overdraft) however they say can not switch her until her student overdraft is paid off.

Any ideas about best way to proceed, thanks?

If possible, lend her the money to pay off the overdraft - she can then repay you?

Is there any disadvantage to your daughter of simply waiting to see if the account is converted, as the posted information suggests? If they were going to start charging interest for instance, they should send her notification of this.

It may be worth speaking to someone else at Santander to clarify (perhaps by email so that it is in writing.)
