I never get these coin flipping ones but I've had Memory for Snowflakes stuck in my studies with no places on it for an hour or so now.

It irritates me that I don't get a sound notification if I have a video/music running on my computer. I wouldn't mind if it interrupted some music for two seconds.

Is anyone else waiting for the 'Perceptions of immigrant groups' study to be approved? It's worth £2.50 and I completed it on August 15th.

I was contacted by a researcher asking for my email so he could pay out the option I had chosen as part of my study.I gave my prolific email as advised. Did anyone else get this and did they receive anything? Thanks :-)

Right now, Happymac, I wish I could get any study at all. Five days in the desert now but I see no reason why you should need to provide any email address to be paid. The whole thing with Prolific is participants' anonymity. In the rare cases where an email address is asked for, it is usually at the beginning of a study and PA advise us to use the one they provide rather than any other. HTH.

I just had a study that "screened" me out because I dont live in the US. So why the smeg is it saying I was eligable in the first place??

So cheekily I hit "complete" as its their own fault for saying I was eligable in the first place!

Daughter's gone to college so I'm back *waves*
Got very excited just now when disembodied voice announced 'prolific study found' and I raced upstairs ... to find zero places remaining. Hey ho.
At least I used 5 calories running up the stairs
Have just read the last couple of pages. Looks like it's been quiet and I haven't missed much.

    Welcome back, fluffig.

As far as I'm concerned, you have missed b*gger-all. The tumbleweed is turning to dust. I am getting quite fed up and would like some studies, please.

One last week I actually got the place and the survey was closed so emailed the researcher who replied that she was indeed reviewing data. She hadn't realised that the places got released again.
I had a researcher today tell me they couldn't find my data from a survey- haven't had that before. I had a completion code and advised her roughly what I had written in the free text question that was in the survey and she has now paid so presumably has identified my responses.
