So after the old thread disappearing, this seems to be the new thread for discussion relating to prolific academy.

Me too. Yesterdays has paid now and he normally does that first then releases the latest one.
You see I'll have jinxed myself now and not get any studies when everyone else does.

Yes, good luck, mikep22... Hope it does not intrude on your "thesis".

I took it upon myself to investigate a trifle; it had custard, jelly, soggy sponge things...

I signed up yesterday and filled in all the pre-screener questions. Do I need to do anything else to start getting studies? I verified my email, for example, but I haven't done my phone yet. Do any of the pre-screener questions disqualify you for a lot of studies if you give the 'wrong' answer?

There are no right answers- this is academic research most of the studies are doing so giving inaccurate answers negates some its value.
Beware we are going into a much quieter spell at the moment so don't be demoralised if you don't get (m)any for a while.
I don't think there is anything else you need to do to get studies but it is very quiet today, I've seen nothing so far.

PA rarely send email alerts when there is a new study so you will need to log on to the site to see if there are any you are eligible for. Lots of posters on here notify when there is a new study so it may well be worth subscribing to this thread, or if you prefer you can install a page checker which will alert you to new studies. I use visual ping.

I think with regards to pre-screening it's always best to be honest, there are many interesting and well paid studies on here and usually something for every demographic.

    Good luck!

Hiddenidentity, you will be eligible for the tiara club at this rate. I've had nothing for three days and precious little before that.

Clearly you answered the pre-screening questions correctly...
