Call them quickly, they'll usually do it within the first 24hours of booking.

Some airlines will let you cancel free of charge within 24 hours. Others won't. You need to read their conditions of carriage or better still, ring them.

did you book direct with the airline? if so the 24 hour cancellation policy should be on their website
If you booked through an agent then the 24 hour cancellation generally does not apply

With no idea as to which airline or what type of ticket I'd suggest you contact who you made the booking with.

    Quickly.

Because quite how you'd expect any of us to know based on such little info ...

Of course you can cancel them.

But I suspect what you're actually asking is can you get a refund.
That will depend on which airline you booked with and/what kind of ticket you bought.
Other option might be travel insurance (if you have it) depending on the reason for cancellation.

    Well that went well
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

You can cancel your flight at any time - that is no problem at all .......................however it is unlikely that you will get anything back other than the taxes and even then the fee will probably cancel that out.
