Chrysler Jeep transmission codes 14th Jul 17 at 11:43 AM
This is a bit of a last ditch effort to avoid going to a Jeep main dealer for a diagnostics check really -

Does anybody know of an independent Jeep specialist (or enthusiast) who can retrieve GEARBOX fault codes from a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee in West Wales - Cardigan area?

The car is currently in limp mode and I have a generic ECU fault code P0702 (transmission electrical) but a standard OBDII reader will not go any deeper than the car is already telling me.

    Thanks in advance.

Plenty of specialists, join the Jeep Forums. There maybe someone with the equipment local to yourself.

I've read Launch x431 is quite good for use on Chryslers, on the lookout for a reasonably priced one at the moment.
