Do folks read the comps.... 12th Jul 17 at 10:57 PM
Do folks read the comps they are entering?

Almost 200 people have entered this competition, I wonder if the know they are entering for boat cleaner

    https://www.facebook.com/MarineSixteen/photos/a.178278092545628.1073741828.145579675815470/454856368221131/?type=3&theater

Then again I could be totally wrong and all those compers do own boats

I would think the cleaners could be used on other things

    No, I didn't enter

Lol. I noticed that some of the usual suspects are on there trying to win, with the usual 'liked, loved, dreamed' cobblers pmsl.
Wonder if some of them actually have boats............
....... that they play with in the bath?

There's an awful lot don't. Some of the fans of copy and paste emoji rants enter for prizes in New Zealand, Australia, Africa etc - which have to be collected... Then again maybe they travel a lot.....

The only ones I confess to not reading too well (or more like not researching what the product actually does) is for vitamins/food supplements etc as I figure they must be of some use, whatever they do. As a result, I have had some strange ones turning up at times.
With regards to boat cleaner, surely you can use it on things other than boats? Unless you have to prove boat ownership in order to redeem the prize. I think I may still have the kids' rubber dinghy in the attic if anyone needs to borrow it to confirm their boat-owning credentials!

On the subject of boats. I do a few paid surveys. I answered 'are you the owner of a yacht?' and got screened out.

I can just see Peter Jones on his yatch doing surveys...

One is just popping in to Monte to get one's staff to mail one's postcard entries.

"This owner of 7 corgis and a rather large, and one might say espensive to run, residence, has such a lot of expenses, one hardly knows where to turn. One would be ever so grateful to you minions if you could bestow this amazing, awesome gift on one. After all tissues rolls are an absurd expense when one has such a large staff to accomodate. "

Just noticed that someone 'who is expecting an IVF baby would like to win a little treat'
    Or words to that effect.
Good luck to them, but I could understand it if it was baby items that were being given away, but it's boat cleaner for fudge sake........... Makes no sense at all to post that.
I don't know what to say to that one.
