MSE Sports Day 2017 11th Jul 17 at 3:40 PM
    Hi All,

Last Friday (7th July) saw the annual MSE Sports Day!

The build up took place over a matter of weeks with staff members being split into the usual red, yellow, green and blue teams (Martin in the Blue team). The build up to the event took place across a number of quizzes, bridge-building challenges and riddle puzzles in MSE Towers to help teams build points up ahead of the big day itself.

We were fortunately blessed with a very sunny and warm summers day and the team events were as follows.

    1. Beanbag race
    2. Egg and Spoon race
    3. Sack race
    4. Limbo
    5. Wheelbarrow race
    6. Obstacle Course
    7. Tug of War
    8. 100m relay
    9. Drunken waiters
    10. Plank Challenge

We also gathered a few videos during the day showing the 100m relay, the drunken waiter, the wheelbarrow race the Blue and Red team's 'war dance'. Despite most team members being highly competitive, especially (and self-admittedly) Martin, the Red team finally came up on top as the champions of the day, as you can see in their very own 'war dance' video.

    The results being:
    Red Team: 49 points
    Green Team: 42 points
    Blue Team: 41 points
    Yellow Team: 25 points

Some of the lads can run fast!

I hope the one with the plastercast on his arm didn't incur the injury during the event!

So, which team was MSE Martin on then?
Always ask yourself one question: What would Gibbs do?

I recognise Martin's legs from his programme live from Bournemouth Pier a few weeks ago
Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama
