Cheapest wat to get an 8gb RAM laptop 10th Jul 17 at 3:44 PM
    Hello,

I am looking to get a new laptop that runs on Windows, with 8gb RAM and a disc tray. I would like to spend no more than £350. Where am i best to look?

    Thank you

Rather than start a new thread , can I ask here what you think about this laptop which I am thinking of buying for my granddaughter.

I don't want to spend more than this price.
I am unsure if the AMD processor is a good choice and have read that the battery performance may be an issue.
Including refurbished , is there a better option.

Does the link above contain a similarly priced laptop with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD? If it does, I don't see it.
Do you mind just posting the actual laptop with those specs?

It should be quite fast with the SSD but just OK CPU; discussed here
