    Best Smartphone £150 8th Jul 17 at 11:18 AM
My friend is looking to get a new phone. She needs a good camera and bigger screen more importantly, will be using it for apps, email, social media etc.

There's so many out there, is there any really good ones for up to £150 maybe a bit more if it's a really good one?

    Thank you

Motorola Moto G5 £120 on o2 . Unlock it for £2 on ebay

Buy it unlocked from Tesco around £150

One of the best budget phones around

You can also get many hi spec mobile direct from China but there are warranty issues if they go wrong.

Bought my boy a Moto C plus from Argos for £99.99 SIM free. It's a new model so comes with Nougat and I think is excellent value. It has a 4000mah battery which is huge for a mobile.
I didn't get where i am today by not reading moneysavingexpert.com

I think your friend should buy a refurbished phone. Samsung Galaxy A5 is good and has the specifications your friend is looking for.

MusicMagpie offers it for £129.99 with a 12 month warranty.

Yes cheap but with only 1GB ram memory it will struggle

Also the Moto 5G has a much better camera for £20 more

    £110.

As has been said G5 is probably your best bet though.

Are there no decent Huaweis in this price slot?
