SMART smarting. 5th Jul 17 at 9:06 PM
SMART Parking must really be smarting after drivers in Clacton have started to stick in appeal after appeal against PCNs issued in one of their carparks.

    Has to be this

    http://www.clactonandfrintongazette.co.uk/news/15357620.Irate_drivers_threatening_to_boycott_car_ park_over_unfair_fines_might_be_owed_a_refund/

Those signs seem to be rather high off the ground.

When a PPC attracts this ort of adverse publicity it is surely time for it to up its game or look for a new location. Saying it is a member of the BPA is not going to cut much ice with motorists.

    UPDATE.

With the hlp of a local Councillor, those who received PCNs ave appealed to POPLA. So far 14 appeals have been uphels as (not so) Smart Parking didn't even bother to submit any evidence.
