So Quidco have declined my car hire cashback, they confirmed it has been paid to another referrer!

    Inventory - nails
Okay so I did it, I counted all my nail polishes etc & I am disgusted to say I have 67, yes 67 in total.

This is a mix of polishes, strips & stick on nails

There is no way I am wasting any more money on stuff like this till I use up the massive amounts I have lying around this house!

    So currently using up:

    OPI orange
    Nail hardener
    Top coat

Will keep going with these till they are done then choose another colour from the many in my drawer

67! Goodness, you could have a different colour for every nail and still not repeat a look for a week.

I can't believe you're on P4 and nobody's asked you for an SOA yet, Dolly. Are we all slipping?

67 is amazing! But yes would not have helped on the debt payments. I only have 8 but only paint toes.
Love that you are using what you have got. This is my aim all the time but not always easy. Easy on paper but harder to actually-do.
Thing is with nail varnish in my experience it pays not to buy too cheap. Cheap cheaper ones dry harder and are more brittle I think.
Also was reading yesterday that just recently overall people have stopped spending so much money- but sales of low value cosmetics like high end lipsticks have soared and retailers are calling this the "lipstick effect" but it's not a new thing and was first seen in the downturn in the 1930s. So if you are buying lipsticks and other small things you are not alone.

It all stops now, I am only buying when the last drop has been used.

Will save me quite a bit over the next year I would imagine.

I'm taking the same approach now with makeup. I used to find something I really liked and then stocked up as it seemed as soon as I found something reliable it was discontinued. As I get older I'm wearing less makeup and what I do use is much more subtle - the makeup I stocked up on is too harsh now and makes me look like a sad old mutton. I have 6 unopened black eyeliners, lots of foundation and blush that I won't use, so will donate them to charity and not buy new until what I have is nearly gone.
