Beware Vecelli Home Improvements 30th Jun 17 at 10:35 AM
This company has traded under several different names. It is owned by Graham Kelly. We bought a roller garage door [£1149.00] from Roller Door Installations which is majorly faulty. They do not respond to phone calls, emails or letters. We have reported them to Devon Trading Standards and Watchdog. We are now proposing to take them to court.
They are now trading as Roman Garage Doors from the same premises in Boreham, Essex. Their telephone number is 01245 361 676.
    Vecelli Home Improvements Ltd
    trading as
    Roman Garage Doors
    Squire House
    81-87 High Street
    Billericay
    CM12 9AS

This happened late Friday night so will be contacting the company tomorrow - this is less than a year old so it should still be in original warranty

Don't hold your breath. Apparently helpful staff answering phones but no action. We've given up and are replacing with a different local company.

I have a Roman Garage door and never had any problems with it and nor have my 2 neighbours - for this reason I bought one for my daughter as a gift - unfortunately hers has had various problems now to the point it cannot be used at all not even manually. I feel responsible because it was a gift....... waiting to hopefully get it sorted.

This is very annoying as my grandmother's garage door was working fine until a neighbour caused damage.

As they seem to have a presence on hear it seems the best way of getting something sorted.

The post you've replied to wasn't asking that of YOU.

(Clue ... the poster hollydays was replying to is actually quoted in her post).

Interesting all these Friday fixings. We should have had an engineer visit on Friday too but that was 17 days after I reported the fault and that I had NO access to my garage. Numerous promises in that time that came to nothing including appointment made but !!!8216;van broke down!!!8217; but no phone call. Gave up waiting as no hope so got local firm to fix and quote for replacement so I cancelled them because even if they fixed it I had no confidence in it. And waiting 17 days for a repair is unacceptable when they are !!!8216;never far away!!!8217;!

    P Kelly warranties / Essati/roman Garage doors
Hi, does anyone have a contact number for these people. My elderly father has a garage door purchased from Essati and the motor isn’t working. He has an extended warranty with P Kelly but we can’t find a number for them and Roman garage doors doesn’t answer the phone. Many thanks for your help.

Came across this thread as I know someone who has purchased a Roller Garagedoors online/installation in the past couple of months.

It failed this week when opening with some of the slats coming loose and jamming in the upper part of the roller.

We have tried contacting the company with no replies or acknowledgement and it is concerning seeing all of the bad press, not only this company but previous namesakes run by the same people.

Only contact number I can find is a mobile which goes to voicemail and an email address which has an auto reply message on it.

Just to add to my previous post.

The Roller garage company never did respond to the person who had the door fail. Although another company did respond to the email saying they could come and look, but it would cost - no idea how they got hold of the original email saying it had gone faulty..

We had other companies out to quote for a replacement who were shocked at how bad the install was. With questionable safety features. It is only by luck that the door did not fall down and damage the car as it was driving out, or worse still hit someone walking underneath. Having now looked at lots of other solution, I have not seen a single install where the roller shutter is screwed directly to the roller, they all have "leaders" which help it roll onto the roller. The way they have done it is always going to be a potential failure point.

My advice after doing lots of research on this company and its associated owners is to steer well clear. There are much better designs and qualities of doors available for the same price. Get one fitted by a company who does not fold and change its name annually.

The Kellys are out and out liars. No way have they supplied and installed 200,000 doors.

Their doors do not comply with legislation, specifically:
The Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations
    The Construction Products Regulation

If they’d sold 200,000 doors they would keep folding their companies!

Graham Kelly: nobody is falling into any ‘media traps’. You ARE Rogue Traders and the epitome of a ‘cowboy’. You used plastic laths, drainpipe for the axle and fitting is shabby. Your doors fall apart presenting safety risks not to mention expense of replacing.
