Haven't even got out of bed yet and I'm irritated.
-The badly behaved cat peed in the laundry basket so all my summer clothes have had to go back in the wash and I'll have to wear jeans today.
-I've pulled a muscle in my leg and have to drag it behind me, quasimodo style
-OH ate all the bread so I can't have toast for breakfast

    My OysterCard died....
Somewhere in the 90 seconds between the exit barriers at Cannon St Rail and the entry gates at Cannon St Underground. There's no ticket office any more so the advice is "Dunno. Phone Customer Services" On the upside, I can buy a replacement, activate it online and transfer the details across. But no way of finding out why it died... old age perhaps?

I hate filling them in and always leave it right until the very last minute in the hope that someone will tell me that I no longer need to do it

that ken fisher pension advert is starting to grate, anyone that is smart enough to accumulate a £250,000 pension fund is also going to be smart enough to know how to make the most out of it.

Drivers who in thick fog think side lights are adequate lighting

Driving home from town ( no fog ) into thicker and thicker fog, I noticed ahead of me on a sweeping bend a high bright light, good distance ahead so wasn't too concerned about my speed, till I completed the bed and found two cars, one with no lights at all, one with side lights only travelling behind the tractor which had the one bright light

They honestly couldn't be seen until I was nearly in their boots !!!

Commuting. I'm sick of the drudgery and never-endingness of it and of the idiots I encounter both on the train and the walk from the station.
I'm kind of stuck with it though because getting a job near to home would be too big a drop in salary, even taking into account the fact that I'd no longer be paying a small fortune each month for my season ticket.

I do empathise with you, Izadora, I've been there myself too.
