    I love it!

We did two hours hard gardening this morning before it got too hot, then I sat in the garden with my feet up and read my brilliant book.

I'd add have plenty of fluids too.
And take a cold wet flannel to bed. Take it easy, make allowances and remember this is England. It aint gonna last

I suppose I could go down Sainsbury's and hang around the freezes section pretending I'm going to buy something.

Mind you I did notice yesterday Portugal was 40C, that is pretty hot!

    Maybe the heat moved north?

As for Wednesday one site forecasts 26C for here (Nottm) but another says 30C. That is quite a difference!

I'm funny with keeping certain windows open at night. Even though I'm on the first floor, there is one window I shut at night because its below the communal door and has a ledge over it.

It's actually a bit chilly in my office today, I've had to put my cardigan back on and get a nice warming cup of tea.
Outside the pavements are practically melting but it's like Narnia under the reign of the Ice Queen in here.

It's OK the nice sunny weather but I am finding it hard sleeping in the hot muggy sultry night time. Even with the windows open.

Plus my fan broke right when the weather heated up. Now everywhere seems sold out.

But the hot weather is breaking by Thursday so I will get a new fan then when fan popularity goes down a bit.
