    Whats the benefits in civil service job (DWP or HMRC)

    I know the pension contribution is great and they do child care vouchers / season ticket loan.

    Some areas have flexible working, but others don't. It's difficult to define what is global, apart from the pension. Even the pension isn't as good as it used to be. My wife works in the private sector and her pension forecast is better than it would have been with DWP.
