    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

    Admiral Automatic Insurance renewal
    • #7

My car insurance with admiral was due for renewal mid September. I called them to say do not automatically do this - it was a considerable increase - and to ask for e-mail confirmation. As no e-mail was forthcoming I e-mailed them, and did recieve a reply on 24/08/17 confirming that policy would not automatically renew and be classed as cancelled.

No surprises on this forum - they attempted to renew at the new higher price. The only reason it didn't happen was due to having a new credit card number - the old card was declined. I had a posted letter from admiral now followed up by e-mail stating that they had insured me and I was breaking the law if uninsured.

In my experience Admiral are very unhelpful as a 'system' issue would not happen three times over. Avoid them.
