Newbie alert!!! Care parking 14th Jun 17 at 9:07 PM
Hi, Today i have received a reminder notice for an alleged parking offence on 5th may. The reminder states that the original pcn was issued on 11th may however I had never received any paper work before today. This has also happened to 3 of my colleagues who where also parked in the same car park.
Having read through the forum I think my original impulse to just ignore them might not work anymore so I want to appeal via there website but apparently this needs to be done within 28 days of the original notice, the one I didn't receive!
Do I still submit the template in the sticky at the start of the forum or is it a different template?
Thanks in advance for your help

Not your real name username, we hope? This is a public forum...read by parking firms too.

Yes, in the name of the registered keeper, who is allowed to appeal at 'Notice to Keeper' stage. DO NOT say who was driving and don't let your friends write their own version!

    All do the same.

If this happened to FOUR of you on the same day, no PCN issued, yet the letter says one was, I would also send an email complaint from ALL four of you, quoting all 4 PCN numbers, telling the Trade Body the BPA, what this firm has done to all four of you (naming you all at the bottom) - call it ''ghost ticketing'' (being careful not to say who was driving):

    aos@britishparking.co.uk

    and copy in:

    david.dunford@dvla.gsi.gov.uk

and have this in the subject line:

''complaint about Ghost Ticketing - FOUR cars by Care Parking can be no coincidence - DVLA & BPA formal complaint''

PRIVATE PCN in England/Wales? DON'T PAY BUT DO NOT IGNORE IT

Click on the trail, top of this page: Home>>Forums>Household & Travel>Motoring>Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking - read the 'NEWBIES' FAQS thread!
DON'T read old advice to ignore, unless in Scotland/NI.

Ask the Forum Team to change it for you, or start again with a new name and let this thread die.

Forum Guides - Crabman, savvy or soolin. See bottom r/h corner of this forum's thread list page. PM one of these.
We cannot provide you with a silver bullet to get you out of this. You have to be in for the long run, and need to involve yourself in research and work for you to get rid of this. It is not simple. We will help, but can't do it for you.
