Broker mistakes 14th Jun 17 at 9:00 PM
    Advice needed please!

Our mortgage broker messed up and applied for a mortgage of the wrong length - 19 years instead of 26. When I spotted the mistake he redid it for 26. Then he bothered to ask my partner about his pension (Ie after applying again) and it turns out we aren't eligible for that mortgage at all.

So now we are going for a mortgage with another lender entirely.

I'm wondering what the implications are? Does this mean we have had multiple credit checks before even applying for a mortgage which might work (initial agreement in principle, then twice with a lender who won't lend to us)?

We had paid the broker already.

It means, there has been some confusion which will no doubt be resolved today.

    Nothing else.
