Has anyone experience of the retailCURe credit union?

They're offering a 3% fixed rate 12 month saver for up to £15,000 which seems good compared to offerings elsewhere.

I don't know what the membership T&Cs are, but if they're not onerous this is likely to be a popular product.

Just had a closer look. Only open to those who work in retail.

I knew there had to be a catch

Fortunately I do meet the criteria for working in retail, think I'll go for it.

..and I believe a limited number (only 100) accounts at the 12mth term at 3% rate are available. Last payslip required as evidence of employment in the retail industry. Thing is you can't find out if any of the 100 accounts are still available until after you have set up a regular easy saver.

No info on whether this is a limited offer.
Same joining conditions (you have to work in retail and prove that you do).
Can't deposit until accepted as a member.
Must open basic easy saver account before term deposit.
Easy saver has no need for regular payments.
