Question about early esa payment 13th Jun 17 at 1:25 PM
    Good afternoon all.
Does anyone know why my hubby would receive his esa (support group) nearly a week early. On the bank details it also says DWPGB - FP Funding.
I thought I'd ask here first than spend the usual 30 mins to 45 mins on the phone with them
    Thanks in advance

    Have your circumstances changed?

It could be a number of things. I see from your previous posts that your employment stopped in mid May so are you now being added on to your husband's ESA claim?

If your circumstances have changed then they could be paying your husband's stand alone claim before they then pay you the new rate.

    Hope this makes sense!

    Hi pmlindyloo
Thanks for ur reply, there's a difference of 30 pence. Our circumstances have changed in that I lost my job at the end of march. Dwp said that it would not make any difference to us financially just a diff in how they worked out his income based and contributions based esa.
I've also just started to get carers allowance.
So I don't understand why he's receiving his esa a wk early, maybe I am going to have to make the dreaded call 😩
    Regards
