    Anybody interested who missed the result yesterday, our young lions beat Venezuela 1-0 in the final of the World Under 20 World Cup.

    Jeremy Corbyn, a big fan of the late Hugo Chavez has just sent his congratulations to Venezuela on coming second and winning the competition!

    Brilliant result, the first world cup win since 1966. Not enough news about it on radio/TV, still focusing on the election. Lets hope they play for England one day

    They did very well, beating Italy and Mexico en route. Good luck to them.

    BTW , I did not overlook your little joke in the OP.


    Always think it's a shame when players like Marcus Rashford get thrown into the big arena, when they're still eligible to play for the U20 team.

    Ross Barkley is another, and how often has he played for the senior team.....not a lot.

    That said, I think aged 20 and you should be in the senior squad.
