Do you think it matters at what point you enter a comp?

Do you find that you are more successful if you enter via end date? Or if you enter via newest posted? Or perhaps another method?

I've been comping since 2011 and I have been quite lucky in that time and have always entered by newest posted, but not sure if other ways would be more beneficial or if it really matters!

    What is your experience?

January wins: *4 piece bamboo towel bale* *Winter Wonderland break*
    Win £2018 in £2018: £816.26/£2018

I posted this on a recent thread...

There was a little known study done by Professor Denzil Dexter of the University of Southern California that showed that those entering early won 49.9999996% of competitions and those entering late won 49.9999995% of competitions.

Dexter is regarded as a genius in some circles - see HERE

I think it is pure luck and does not matter when you enter.

I consider myself to be lucky as I won around £60k worth of prizes since 2012.
