Does anyone know standard box sizes? 11th Jun 17 at 2:40 PM
I'm after packing boxes around 28" x 18" x 8", doesn't need to be dead on that but when i'm searching on ebay with all the multivariation listings and bringing items matching 28 cm aswell none that I look at are anywhere near what i'm looking for. Does anyone know what the standard nearest size would be that will give me correct results when I search for it please?

    Try either 30" x 18" x 18" or 24" x 18" x 18" - plenty of both sizes on ebay e.g. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Double-Wall-Removal-Boxes-Parcel-Packing-Packaging-Choose-Size-Qty/121000479451

Box sizes are usually internal dimensions. If you are trying to get the largest possible box acceptable for a specific carrier you need to check what the exterior dimensions are - probably a quarter or half inch more.

Your first measurements are listed in inches but then you say 28cm?

I mean ebay bring up boxes sized 28cm among the results when I search for 28". The 24" x 18" x 18" might do i'll have to remeasure but think the external size will be close to hermes maximum size and i'd rather be well under plus the bigger the box the more it costs which is a bit wasteful when I don't need them that deep.
