    Washing Machine on Last Legs?

Washing Machine on Last Legs? 9th Jun 17 at 9:30 PM
    Hi

I've got 13 year old Smeg washing machine. Tonight I've noticed a slight leak from the casing in the area just below the drum. The leak is not coming from the tube you use to drain it, or the filter.

I know this is a bit of a vague description, but has anyone seen this type of leak before and is it repairable?

I'm guessing the washing machine is finished due to it's age.

    Thanks in advance.

There's an assortment of small rubber hoses that my have perished and started leaking or the main water feed hose has shaken loose and is weeping . Needs pulling out and seeing if you can spot any obvious damp areas

Thanks Browntoa, it is in the actual main casing itself. Will have a look tomorrow, as I'm using the machine just now.

Waters weeping from somewhere and then running down the casing

Also look at door seal area

Your should be able to see the trail the water takes if it's been doing it for a while
