I want to shop, maybe that will take an hour?

The area around the cathedral is lovely, if you've time the cathedral itself is well worth a visit.
Below the cathedral is the marina. If I'm correct in remembering if you stand with the sea behind you and the cathedral in front and walk to the left there is quite a nice route with gardens and some old city wall type features. It's a while since I've been so someone else can probably guide you better but it might be a start.

Plenty! Start at the Cathedral de Mallorca. The whole area around there is stunning with fantastic architecture.

Then stroll through the old town, take a look at Placa Major (Central Square). Also along the sea front from the Cathedral towards the Harbour.

By the time you've strolled around, soaked it up, stopped for a coffee/beer, done some shopping, had some Tapas, strolled around more exploring the streets, you'll wonder where your day has gone.

I love Palma, an often overlooked city as most people head straight out to beach resorts. Then again, that's some of its charm as well...
