Just reading a story about a girl who had nudes leaked after a break up with her so just wondering if anyone has gone through anything petty because of a break up?

Intermittently calls the DWP and says I'm commiting benefit fraud.

First time it happened the investigator called to apologise to my mum, apparently he was mortified when he got a consultants letter saying I was terminal and on life support waiting for a heart transplant.

A year later I got a letter and called and explained what happened last time. Now when I announce anything happy on Facebook I get a letter a few weeks later from the DWP. I don't have him on Facebook so he's obviously hearing through friends.

Oh and he married the girl he cheated with, obviously he's very happy in his marriage, idiot.

Got his mum - yes, his mum.. to ring me at work (worked in a public-facing role at the time, so pretty embarrassing) and demand that I pay half of a TV licence a couple of months after I left him. This was a licence for a TV I didn't watch in a house I didn't live in

My ex called my mum to tell her I was using drugs because id been spending too much time out with friends prior to me leaving. It was complete rubbish I was just regaining my confidence and building a social circle after he had broken me down and cut me off from everyone for so long. The worst bit was that she believed him and tried to insist on me staying with her if I was intent on leaving. It took a good few rows before she realised how abusive the relationship had been

Petulantly took the "couple" presents we got from his sister for Christmas with him when he left (after I threw him out of MY flat because he cheated), because they were from HIS family. He got the dusty fondue set and the horrible rug I'd felt obliged to use so as not to offend them; I got my life back. Cool trade if you ask me!

My ex threatened to hunt me down as he apparently knew where i was moving too and where i worked just because i unfriended him on facebook.

Happy to say he never did find me and i haven;t seen or heard from him since. I did think threatening someone cos they deleted you is somewhat petty though (was i not allowed to considering he cheated on me and left me for another woman? )

My ex logged into my facebook and sent dirty messages asking for a hook up with essentially every guy he'd ever had a problem with me talking to.

The irony is I knew his password as well, logged in, and he'd been desperatly messaging girls trying to hook up....they all were very politley saying no and he was coming off as a creep.

Not sure if I would have retaliated in the end but I didn't need too!

My ex came round to clear his stuff out of my garage and chucked a tin of paint over everything of mine that was in there.

He met her on a friend’s stag do abroad and ran off with her a few weeks later.

Several months passed, when it didn't work out he came back with doe eyes and a sob story. He was absolutely shocked to find I wasn't moping, tear stained and bed stricken like a Victorian heroine.

He rather did have a high opinion of himself and I genuinely believe he felt like he was ‘doing me a favour’ as he was ‘dating down’ –being all noble and selfless so I should be a bit grateful.

When he then found out I was dating a new guy - he decided I was a hussy of the highest order.

I swear I could see his brain saying ‘does not compute’ and the only reason I would be with someone else, rather than with him, was that I was a sIut.

In righteous indignation, that I hadn't fallen at his feet, he put my photo (not risque – if I remember correctly it was one of those terrible ‘photoshoot’ makeover shots popular at the time) and mobile number on a few message boards (that shows you how long ago this was!) for gentlemen looking to meet ladies that liked a good time if you paid to ‘escort’ them out. With a blurb telling all and sundry I was totally easy.

This was wildly inconvenient as I couldn’t afford to change my number at the time and was paranoid that someone I knew would see the posts/photo – as it was, the changing nature of the fledgling internet - these boards became defunct as things moved over to websites - so the message vanished in to obscurity quite soon after.

    As did he.
