What is the best way to select reliable brands? 8th Jun 17 at 4:21 AM
    Hey guys!
Is there a place where I can find a list of FDA-approved generics? I tried checking fda website but it is too complicated. I'm pretty dubious about online pharmacies (all of them claim to have FDA approved pills), do not trust them. I am asking this as I have a trip to Asia coming in a few moths (I will be there for a year for work).
I'm trying to decide if I should purchase my stock of generic Sildenafil before I leave. Generic Sildenafil in Asia will cost me close to nothing if I buy it locally.
I obviously don't know much about getting medications overseas and I am afraid that I will have the issue with the customs if I bring a few packs of medications. Currently, I am looking at generic alternatives I could ask for in Asian pharmacies. What is the best way to select reliable brands? Also, I am trying to find out that is the difference between US FDA approval and India FDA approval? Are they somewhat equivalent when we are talking about generic medications? Thanks in advance!

Unlikely that a UK site is going to be able to help you with your US query.

Slinky, dropping the FDA equivalence question. I still hope to get an advice on shopping in Asian Pharmacies. Someone advised taking only European brands with valid expiration dates from air-conditioned pharmacies. I guess I should be relying on a pharmacist's choice when it comes to particular brand names he/she decides to suggest. Hearing some "interesting" stories, makes me think about bringing my own stock but I am worried about the customs.

Don't know where you're going but yeah I'd think going through customs with a years supply of Viagra in your luggage could raise some red flags!

Why not phone the US embassy/consulate in your country of destination and ask their advice.
