used 7 apg's on ss today (2 shops 3/4) took me ages to put numbers through but all worked ok.
then on to manned till, i fold my apgs with receipt inside it so they are in order, why do some sa's insist on mixing them up i gave him 4 and he shook the receipts out of the apgs mixing them up. i said you do know you have to get the correct apg with the right receipt. he said he knows which one. i seen him scan the wrong one and of course 2 were rejected. a lot of messing about but got it down to one. i said just give me everything back and i can check the receipt for which one did not go through.
outcome was, i paid £4.50 for my shopping instead of £1.10
not so bad as i got the 2 beers on there awaiting £3.30 cos cb
end of outing my wife had used 1 apg (bless her) i used 10 successfully. totalling about £24. not bad for litter.
still got the one £3 odd to use

Tedious though it is typing in ALL those numbers, it does mean no SA 'help' is required!
Actually I have found type in the APG number, then scan the receipt works, and cuts the work down by half. Try to get a SS till with a scan gun that works and use that rather than scanning on the actual till. x

Just noticed that some of the Heinz soups are in PYO but also on 4 for £3 at 96p a can

Also think there's 25p cashback on TCB

    Yes and no.

I've found one I like but don't want to pay that much

Plus there's appliances, worktops, a plumber, an electrician....the list goes on and on

I'm not thinking about it any more tonight

Good morning. Only 98 days to Xmas so prep must be started to have a relaxing December with as little as possible shopping once the shops get crowded. My first job today is to steep the fruit in lots of cheap alcohol leftovers - port, sherry, brandy, rum, whisky - whatever is open. This will be stirred every few weeks. Checked the dried fruit stocks yesterday and still have some from a glitch which is a little sugary, but should cook out okay. Cake is always made first weekend in October. I did make one in June this year which will be opened this afternoon. I am sure this counts as one my 5 a day.

    Good morning lovely peoples

    Had a horrid night
It seems my neighbours that I share my bedroom wall with, had a meeting of the Cali Cartel there. Door buzzer, slamming doors every 10 minutes, and sounded like over a dozen noisy people in there.
My rental agreement stipulates that no parties are allowed, and "Quiet Time" is 11pm to 9am. But the tenant is with a different Letting Agency, and "he works at the Embassy" and so is untouchable. It was impossible to sleep until 12.30am when they then went out for the evening. They slammed the door shut on purpose as, much to their amusement, I had banged on the wall at midnight

Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday, and blessings to all
