Just as an add on to the boiler query....anyone who has a worcester bosch might be told of a potential "fault"...it's in connection with the glass that covers the pilot ignition and its been part of a small and not particularly well mentioned recall or flag by the company.

If you are told of this "fault" it is actually covered by WB free of charge if your boiler is still within warranty be that under whatever plan you have...5 or 7 years....you need to ring them and book the part change and they will arrange the part change FOC

If your boiler is out of warranty then it's about £120 to have the glass replaced.

How do I know this....we have 3 WB boilers 2 were in warranty and 1 was not.....although having spoken at length to both my usual gas chap and WB...if you dont get the part replaced then there is no real danger other than the glass being more susceptible to cracking....

Again its something that each individual needs to weigh up whether its worth paying for the replacement glass but I wouldn't want anyone to automatically assume that perhaps because a BG engineer doing a boiler service has said it needs doing that its something that is of an urgent nature...
As with all things ....take advice accordingly.

    Good morning all, happy Friday.

As if the morning school run isn't bad enough, but one of my boys wouldn't hurry up and kept the car door open too long and in got a wasp. Could I get it out? No. I had to resort to spraying the car with wasp killer and driving to the schools with the boys on wasp watching duty. I'm home now, have filled the car again with wasp killer so hope it is dealt with.

Now I need a very strong coffee.

Frustratingly we are waiting for just one form now in order to complete our property purchase for my oldies to finally get a roof over their heads...
Exchange and completion will now hopefully be on the same day at some point next week.....

its been a long journey since the conception of this purchase back in Feb...and of course the change of property mid way though but it finally looks like its all going to come together next week sometime....more finger crossing needed please!

Just seen Hawstone park on travel zoo - fabulous place (best if you are fit and able) valid until the end of the month.

Might be good if you have managed to get a cheap Travelodge room in the sale

Hmmm, good spot, both shops were consecutive and definitely 6 in each, I've just checked. SA must have double scanned one item on both shops, she was a scatty young girl (I usually pick youngsters as usually more 'helpful' with APG's). This one was extra dippy though.

Virtually impossible to keep check as you are packing so just one of those things that we have to accept. I don't want to make a fuss instore as trying to keep under the radar. Mind you, Supervisor took one of my £20+ APG's "to show someone" yesterday so I will keep away from that Store for a couple of weeks.
