Morning all - where is this storm we are supposed to be having or has it been and gone - still murky and raining here.

Regarding last nights discussion regarding treats. Everyone is unique earning their money from many sources and we all have a different attitude to money and spending - some are savers and some are strugglers, some are scrimpers and some are scrooges - what one person might consider a nice little pick me up someone else might think of as a wanton extravagance of the worst order.

I am of the camp that if you want something badly enough you will eke out every penny to help reach my target.

but we are all very different which makes the Elite very special.

Really only of interest to TM.
Apparently there used to be a club in Seaham called bunnygirls (or something similar) and Tom Jones played there. Tom J playing in Seaham, who would have guessed.
That reminded me, bumped (almost literally) into Dave Stewart today.

How far is Tilbury dock from central London, anyone know?

It makes even more sense for you as its only about 90 mins north of Newcastle.

Its on our list for future consideration - no worse really than the long treck to Southampton.
For us it would be one train straight up to Edinburgh, 3 hours - an overnight stay or maybe 2 - then I think its a train through to Inverkeithing, about 25 mins - maybe a taxi to the port then.

Pears shop from last night. Feel a bit bad as used 4 coupons for the rice milk not realising 2 of them are Alpro. Cashier had to call supervisor to put them through and she put them through manually after asking me if I have bought the milk. I said yes. Now wondering if she will get into trouble putting 2 through for the Alpro

Hope this is of use to someone.

    Good morning everyone.

I've been out today, over to Poole and Christchurch, and have just caught up to find Savvy Sal's dreadful news. Devastated is the word I'd use. Not telling you what word I'd use to describe Cancer A hateful word. A hateful disease. It has affected so many. It has ended the lives of so many. No more words ..................
