There's a kitchen shop on the high street and we spotted a unit perfect for our kitchen. Unfortunately it was fitted inside the shop so we asked for a price on a similar unit to be delivered to our home address. Our details were taken and we got an estimate by email this morning.

Including delivery it comes in at just under £10,000.

But we can have it any colour we want

    Good morning

Hope everyone is well, I need to do a mammoth catch up as I'm a few pages behind !

Mrs mac are you about? I am hoping to make some tablet for a work friends birthday and I have heard you talking about it before, I've looked online and have found quite a few different variations but was hoping you would have a more traditional recipe you could share ? X

I bet, for some people, this is telling you what you already know.

I tried the button next to the fruit & veg. to deal with the U/S BC earlier and it worked perfectly, so thank you for that. However, be aware that it seems that, if you try to scan first and get the U/S message, and then do the Key in Code process, the SS machine will want staff approval to deal with the U/S BC message that it got. I got a member of staff to deal with that at the end, although the voucher amount had come off by me doing it manually.

So, it seems it may be best just to go straight to the manual process and not try to scan any voucher BC at all. Even though this now makes every voucher more long-winded but, if you scan and get the U/S message, you will then need approval to take that away.

As I suggested, I bet all of this is common knowledge already. So this "be aware" is only for anyone who didn't already know, and I bet you probably did.

I think that this manual process of typing in the voucher BC and then the transaction number is the way the SS machines should work. So, this post is a "training session", for those that don't already know, on how to use the machines. It is the way that everyone is supposed to use the SS machines, except that I don't think the supermarkets do training sessions for customers.

This may be one of those cases where there seems to be an error and the voucher has what seems to be a random value assigned to it. The system possibly either thinks you haven't spent enough and won't accept the voucher or it reduces the bill by less than expected.

Whose M has got an incorrect SEL for the Milk Chocolate & Ginger Oaty?

    1x McVitie's Hobnobs Milk Chocolate & Ginger Oaty Snack Bars (6x30g) £1.00 £1.60
    1x McVitie's Hobnobs Milk Chocolate & Salted Caramel Oaty Snack Bar (6x30g) £1.00 £0.87

"Fortunately" it is a womble, but the M comp. was 'best overall' so it has still lost a bit.

It was quite a long receipt and, for the amount spent, came out with quite a disappointingly low value - despite, or rather because of, these items:

    2x Pot Noodle Chicken & Mushroom (90g) £1.00 £2.00
    1x ASDA Paracetamol 500mg Tablets 16 Pack (500mg) £0.19 £0.30
    1x Oreo Original Biscuits (154g) £0.50 £1.04
1x Dettol Cleaning Spray All In One Linen (400ml) £2.00 £3.00

Paracetamol Tablets are still 19p in A despite what seems a false alarm by my A displaying a different price. They may be comparing - I think wrongly - against Caplets in M as it seems M does not have own label tablets. These Ibuprofen tablets work vs M at the moment:
    1x ASDA Ibuprofen 200mg Tablets 16 Pack (200mg) £0.25 N/A

Not a v.good receipt, it seems I may have lost more:
    1x ASDA Smart Price 15 Yorkshire Puddings (230g) £0.50 N/A

The price of some SP items has gone up - SP tinned soups are now 25p today.
The Kids apples have also gone back from 75p to £1.

I saw a couple of frozen food items on lower price in M the other day.

Oriental Express Chinese Chow Mein (350g) or Chicken (350g) each showing 50p

Today, there are some frozen food items on lower price in my A. I have the A Bakes (Steak, Creamy Chicken etc.) at 75p 'reduced price' and an Aunt Bessie 2 pack pudding at 50p 'reduced price'.
