Hiya, sorry I didn't get back on last night. Electricity chap said friends power failure is a fault underground, from side of house to other side of small country lane. Arranged for them to locate and repair and let me know when done so I can go back when supply connected again, otherwise our friend will have to leave it till Friday when he is home properly. I rang them today to check if anything done yet, to be told that the notes said away so contact on 19th to arrange reconnection of supply No, that is not wht I arranged. Anyway they now have it that I will be available on Tuesday afternoon to be at house so they will ring and give me one hour's notice so I can get there. At first they said they couldn't give me a time and I would have to be available all day, erh no thanks. And then said they will give me half hours notice, no again as I live almost an hour away. I am going to ring them again on Monday afternoon to see how it's going as I just don't trust them to put any urgency on it

Got home 4pm last night and after unloading car and starting washing, I just sat relaxing, catching up on some recorded tv till about 2am. Then I was working in charity shop in afternoon

So lovely to see that JTS popped in

Happy Birthday, 3Dogs, hope that you have a lovely day. xx

    [QUOTE=TrulyMadly;72839047]Two things:-

An update on our taps Sue. The company agreed to send out new valves but then realised that the valves were out of stock.Very kindly they offered us new taps which arrived the next day. Mr TM fitted them today and guess what? They are dripping again. Even worse, they are over running AND dripping

Oh dear TM, it never rains, but it pours sorry couldn't resist.

Snap, a miracle on finding your missing earing.
Hope you have been to seek medical advice on that hand, looks awful.

Sorry no one had any luck with the purple bottles was hoping someone else might have been successful.
None in my local to try.
Still don't understand hoe it managed to do a £5.00 deduction and then charge 10p for the same product.

    A second happy birthday then.
Im a board guide on Pie Making Moneysaving. I'm a volunteer to help the pie production & consumption run smoothly. I can help merge tastes and fillings. Any pies made are mine & are not those of other Moneysavingexperts. Im a board guide not a qualified baker and as such do not make every type of pie. If you spot a quiche or flan please report it.

    Morning All,

Tried this at big T's on the way home from work. Lots of bottles, but charging £4 for the combo. Would have got some 10p bottles for my new class next term, but came up as £5.

Plodded on with self scan as had some coupons, and got some woopsies and walkers and £8 off the shop, including a couple of Dettol hand wash for the Vue tickets. So, v. Happy with my little shop.

Sooooooo tired last night, I went to bed at 9pm, but didn't get to sleep til after 11pm.

Architect coming today to discuss kitchen extension.

    Happy Birthday 3Dogs!

Wowzer £722 amazing well done. Pray tell me how you collected so many. Tia

I always have in mind I am waiting for the best way to spend - but then haven't worked that out . Mrs Anon has £150 too (I have built that up for her with different offers ).

I have collected the points with their credit card (new customer bonus, then us as my main credit card), jumping on the V1king deals recently and previously - and that is about it.
